Express gratitude every day. Start by keeping a gratitude journal. One of those mini notebooks will do just fine! Every day just jot down some things that come to your mind which you are grateful for. Start with 3 things. Throughout the day and before bedtime, look at your list and think about those things. Focus on your breathing as you think of these. Deep breaths. Breath IN the gratitude. EXHALE gratitude into the world.
“God gave you a gift of 86,400 seconds today.
Have you used one to say “thank you?”
-William A. Ward
Today, I am grateful for:
* My ability to create, whether it’s using words, mind or hands.
* My good health.
* The a cool breeze on a warm spring day.
“At times our own light goes out and is rekindled by a spark from another person.Each of us has cause to think with deep gratitude of those who have lighted the flame within us.” -Albert Schweitzer
